NEW- REDWING 8FT. 3IN. "SHO-CHIKU-BAI"
REDWING 8FT. 3IN., 2/2, #4/5 line, probably best with a #5 ,14/64 ferrule, blued hardware, select Japanese pine seat, highest quality cork, modified Ritz style grip, deep brown tempered hex shafts, black DLC snakes and Fuji stripper for strength and lightness.. I built this action to be a semi-parabolic; a bit faster and lighter in the upper 2/3 rd's of the rod , giving it a quick turn over or bend momentum ; making no line waves and tracking just where you want it!. It is called "SHO-CHIKU-BAI" or the Japanese relationship between pine (reelseat), bamboo (shafts) and plumb blossom ( watery plumb silk wraps)-- known as the "Three Friends of Winter"; enjoy.

Redwing Penta 8'-11", #7/8 line, 5 sided, 2/2. Designed as a long lift, high line rod with mid & top calibration for larger flies, while always reducing total rod weight. Reelseat is aluminum up lock with extra select Cocobolo insert, black Fuji strippers for strength with the lightest weight, black DLC guides, blued super "Z" ferrule, variegated silk wraps orange/rust/green blend well with the shaft and reelseat. Highest quality cork - no filler used. Big trout, steelhead, Bass, Pike and smaller Salmon; all possible with this rod. Bag and tube.

Redwing custom graphite fly rod , 8ft. 7in. 2/1, staggered ferrule, #7 line, Model " Longcast". Modified Ritz grip; though a bit shorter, N/S cap and ring up lock seat with cork insert, Fuji stripper, handmade blanks at about 45 plus modulus and casts like a cannon. Just at about 3oz. or under and wants a long line to move. lightly used.
