Restored by Redwing Fly Rods
The rod had been altered during its past life with improper reelseat, grip and guide wraps.
With research help from Martin Keane, it was restored as original.
Course of Action:
- Rod taken down to blanks
- Original Tung oil finish applied
- New reelseat grip installed; as original
- New guides and proper silk wraps
