Super "Z" ferrule set ,2 N/S rings over all cork seat; in good original condition, ample snake guides, variegated brown/dark brown nylon wraps. One of my personal rods; purchased in Michigan in the early 80's from a collector along with many other rods; ah the good old days! If it ever had an overcoat it was probably done by Bob Summers , or someone over there. I just ribbed it down a bit to clean it up and fished it as often as I could. This rod has been an inspiration in that it lead me to the world of (other rods and tapers) apart from the nauseating world of same rod builders. I think a better caster will prefer the #5 line for it's accuracy and probably the less skilled angler will marvel at how it move a #6 ( silk as well). The taper of this rod and the obvious highest quality of it's cane make this an exceptional piece. The staggered ferrule design is not lost on builders who desire to push to the outer limits of cane design and casting ability. With bag; never had a tube as far as I can remember. SOLD
